Stafilos Beach - Skopelos
Kalithea Holiday Studios are as close to Stafilos Beach as one can get.
The beautiful, green bay of Stafilos, (also spelt as ‘Stafylos’) that surrounds this beach creates an ideal setting for all tastes. The beach is mostly covered with fine shingle and sand. The fully-serviced Beach Bar offers sun-beds and umbrellas as well as a wide selection of drinks and snacks.
You can also try some Kayaking or SUP’s that can be rented here. It’s an excellent way to explore the countless bays hiding all along Stafilos Beach, waiting to be discovered.
Stafilos Beach encompasses everything Greek. The crystal-clear sea and its azure waters will offer you the perfect Greek island experience you always dreamt off. The big convenience of its proximity to Kalithea Studios will make it hard to go anywhere else.
It is one of the closest beaches to Skopelos Town, (4.5km), which makes it very popular with visitors. It may get crowded during the peak summer months, (mid-July to end of August), however, this will not affect you at all.
The biggest challenge visitors find in high season is the parking for Stafilos Beach. All our visitors, however, have access to a private parking area, exclusive to Kalithea Studios. No matter how crowded the road leading to Stafilos may get, you only have to deal with a 2- minute walk to the beach.
Velanio Beach - Skopelos
It’s the 2nd closest beach to Kalithea Studios. Just follow the short path at the very end of Stafilos.
Velanio beach is only minutes walking from Stafilos, yet a whole world away.
If you like to escape for a few hours in less crowded and more relaxed surroundings, this place will be your perfect getaway.
The beach is split into two areas by a large rock formation right in the middle. The first half, with its fine pebbles and sand, has ample space to make you feel you are on your own, (especially at the beginning and end of the season).
The second half is also known as the Official Nudist beach of Skopelos. It has an almost different and unique atmosphere. Walk with natural air and feel totally free at this part of Velanio. The unspoken rule here is to be NUDE or Commute.
